Things were going well until I reached my 40’s

I started to gain weight around my middle, my anxiety returned and I was exhausted all of the time. 

I had random aches and pains, urinary issues,  dry skin and brain fog. 

Despite being exhausted I had trouble sleeping and I got through the days on coffee and chocolate. 

I had 2 small children, a husband who worked long hours, I was single-handedly running the household and my own business and exercising a lot. 

I had reached burn out. 

I had not been listening to what my body had been trying to tell me and now she was making herself heard. 

Something had to change. 

My remedies were great but I had to make changes to my lifestyle – to what I was eating, how I was exercising and especially to the lack of ‘me-time’.

But it went further than that.  I had to address many traumas from my past that I had been trying to suppress for too long.

I had to start focusing on balancing my hormones.

Since then,  I have gone on to study everything possible about women’s health because the problem was my hormones were out of balance and I found this intriguing as I had never had period troubles. 

But stress and living on coffee resulted in unbalanced blood sugar levels (hello weight gain) and elevated stress hormones (goodbye sleep).

 I now make it my mission to share my knowledge with other women.

Hi I’m Chelsea and…

I am an Australian who loves travel and have spent many years solo travelling. I still like to jet off for a weekend escape on my own.

I finally settled in the UK and have been here for over 20 years. Prior to coming to the UK, I saw a tarot reader who said I was going somewhere green… I always wonder if it was the green grasses of England or my husband Mr Green, that the cards saw?

I have 2 active and sometimes challenging, boys who have been bought up on homeopathy and now happily self-prescribe.

I am passionate about holistic health and wellbeing. But, I love chocolate, coffee and wine – all of which I am very fussy about, I mean if you are going to do it, you have to do it right!

The gym is my sanctuary on a day to day basis but reality is I’d prefer to be on a beach bathed in sunshine.
